No. The first call is free and by video. If it makes sense to move forward, we review your case and send a written proposal.

Do I need to find a US lawyer myself?

No. The US legal work is handled by a US-licensed immigration attorney from a partner firm we work with, who reviews your case, prepares and signs your petition and represents you before the US government. How the engagement works is explained in your proposal.

How much does it cost?

Everything comes in writing in your proposal, before we start: our work and the US legal work with our partner firm. US government fees are separate and paid directly to the government.

What isn’t included in the price?

US government fees, the medical exam and consular expenses, and your travel. For EB-5, also the investment itself and the project fees. All of this is listed separately in your proposal, so you know the full cost before you decide.

Is approval guaranteed?

No. The US government decides, and no one can guarantee the outcome. What we commit to are our timelines and the quality of your petition.

How long does it take?

It depends on the visa and on the US government’s queue. Preparing the petition usually takes a few weeks, and government processing times vary by petition type and service center. Your proposal includes an estimate for your case.

What documents will I need?

A valid passport and personal documents, always. The rest depends on the visa: degrees, proof of experience, recommendation letters, awards, press, company or investment records. After the case review you get a checklist built for your case.

Do I need to speak English?

Not to work with us: we can do everything in Portuguese. Documents in Portuguese are translated into English, because the US government requires complete, certified translations.

Can I do everything from Brazil?

In most cases, yes. Preparation is fully remote. Depending on the visa, you attend an interview at a US consulate in Brazil.

How do I follow my case?

You always talk to the same team and hear from us at every step. Once the petition is filed, you also get a receipt number to check your case on the USCIS website.

What if the government asks for more evidence?

It happens often and has a name: an RFE (Request for Evidence). The team prepares the response with you within the government’s deadline. How this is priced is written in your proposal.

What if my petition is denied?

We go through the reasons for the decision with you and lay out the options: a stronger new petition, a different visa or, in some cases, an appeal. A denial is not always the end of the road.

What’s the difference between a visa and a green card?

A visa lets you enter the US for a purpose and a period of time, such as work, study or travel. A green card is permanent residence: you live and work in the country with no end date and, after a few years, can apply for citizenship.

I was refused a visa before. Can I apply again?

In most cases, yes. A prior refusal must be disclosed in new applications, and it’s best to understand why it happened before trying again. Mention it in the first call.

Can I change visas while in the US?

In some cases, yes, through a change or extension of status without leaving the country. It depends on your current visa, the new one and your history. We assess it in the case review.

Can I work on a tourist visa?

No. A tourist visa (B-1/B-2) does not allow you to work in the US. To work, you need a visa or status that authorizes it, and that’s what we help you find.

Can my family come with me?

With most visas, your spouse and unmarried children under 21 can come with you. We include them in the proposal from the start.

Will my spouse be able to work?

It depends on the main visa. With some, like L-1 and E-2, your spouse can work; with others, they can’t. With a green card, the whole family can work. We explain it case by case.

Can my children go to school there?

Yes. Children who come as your dependents can go to school in the US, and public school is free through high school.
